My Dad was Plant Manager at Oswalts for a number of years. Those silage loaders were great at the time. Dad took one to Mississippi to try out on peanut vines at a feedyard in the 50's sometime.
The silage loader were real popular here at the High Plains feedyards in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.
