birds in a tool shed

doeas any one have any ideals how to keep birds out of tool sheds thats open we put chicken wire up so they could not get on the rafters but now they just sitt on the tractor exhaust and other equipment and sure make a mess any one have good ideal how to keepo them out any help would be nice
