Sorry, 30+ years since I left the farm and joined the Navy, suffering CRS. Dad hadn't even bought the 4440 before I left, and he sold the 530 while I was overseas. Guess it would have a little difficult to pull start a hydrostat with a tractor he didn't own anymore, when I wasn't even there, Huh? Oh well, I was wrong once before, but I can't remember that either!

Still don't think a diesel is a a good idea for a one tractor outfit, especially if its "up in the mountains" away from electricity and regular scheduled maintenance.
