Have to disagree. Dandelions are perrenials and the best time to kill them is in the fall when they are translocating nutrients down into the roots. That is the only way to kill the plant-root and all. 2-4-D will do a good job then. It is a waste of time to spray them with 2-4-D in the spring. It vwill onlt burn the tops back then. Dicamba or Trimec will do a fair job in the spring, but won't completely kill the whole plant unless its in the fall either.
