What happened to me yesterday is what brings me to have a cold alcholic beverage, followed by several more! I ran home from work yesterday at noon and raked up about 6 acres of beautiful grass/alfalfa mix hay, no rain and already sold-the best part. Came home at 4:00 to get started baling and when I went to the field, found that the strong winds we had all day had blow my windrows all over the d##n field. There were about 3 full windrows pushed right up tight against the fence on the north side. Spent some time baling what was still somewhat in rows, and then came back to rake what was left into windrows-wind did the same thing again. Had to have my dad run the rake literally about 5' in front of the baler, baled two full loads this way! After we finished up I was complaing about it, and my Dad who has farmed for 35+ years, smiles at me and says "Isn't farming fun"!!!! Thanks Dad!
