Enter RFI or non resistor spark plugs or resistor spark plugs into the JD forum archives search box or others or google and you'll find lots of answers.... but some companies that never had to warranty things like magneto coils and don't know squat about such will feed you full of other BS like this...http://www.ngkntk.co.uk/technicaltips/resistorplugs.asp Resistor spark plugs have their place lasting longer in todays vehicles and controlling RFI but with other dryer fuels like LPG or natural gas or short run applications stopping and starting or industrial use where engines are run 24/7 -- 365 non resistor plugs have their use as well. If resistor plugs were really meant to be used with magneto ignitions then why did you see radio shielded magnetos with special caps and shielded wires made or airplane or military engines when a resistor plug could have been used?
