I have a 1394...but my operators manual is down at the shop right now...otherwise I would type out the instructions for replacing the filters. If it is the same setup which I imagine, I think there are bleeder screws on top of each filter housing that need to be loosened, then the hand primer on the right side needs to be actuated. When I changed mine last year, there was a lot of gunk in the clear glass bowl on/near the primer...that may interfere with its operation. Also, he may have forgotten the 'O' rings on the inside of the filter housing or gotten it out of position/lodged in the line. I know this isn't a lot of help...will try to remember to get the manual up here tomorrow morning. Good Luck, Tim
