Four main things do that to a computer. A faulty powercord/plug/or plugged in poorly. A powersupply that is on its way out. an install of the operating system that has bad/corrupt files. A virus/worm. If its power light goes out, then comes back on the first may be the problem. Check the plug to wall connection, if needing better contact, there it is. If an error message comes up it may be the last item. Re install the operating system from disks. (after backing up all files you need to keep) If it is a power supply issue, they can be very inexpensive to replace, they are kinda universal to a mother board series, and common. I hope I helped. JimN Replace the cord, they are give away items.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
