those little bales are lots of work. i like feeding them though. they are nice to have in barn when it is too muddy or snow to deep to get around with tractor and loader to feed round bales. i bought some round bales yesterday as we need rain bad. my pasture is starting look like a lawn. last year the cows were belly deep in grass the first of june so i had neighbor leroy cut and bale it for me i got almost 400 bales of 45 lb. bales plus had 10 head running on it. that ain't going to happen this year. it was wet and cold at end of april guys were wondering when they could get in field to work the soil and plant. that turned around fast. did you guys in wi get any rain? local weatherman talked like rain was going north of us.
