I am 40 miles east of Lexington and dry here as well. Corn was shrived up some yasterday. Hay is ripening faster than we can cut it and on the thin side in places. Hopeing for some rain as I would like to set tobacco next week. Lots of folks here are winding up tobacco, but I am a slow starter. Don't like to go to the barn until first of September. As a old friend of mine says it will rain, it alway's has. Maybe not when we need it though.
