Had a 520A for close to 20 years. It'd be a rather primative Farmall they copied.... and not saying much for Farmall if you ask me. The one and only virtue that tractor had was that it was easy on fuel. It had good torque too, but only for the simple reason that it got lugged because nobody really cared anyway. For the longest time we hoped it would catch fire, and we'd walk away... but it wouldn't even do that. I spose we put a couple thousand hours on it; mostly in the woods dragging a trailer. But that's about all it was good for. It was the most contankerous, ignorant rig to work with on anything else. I don't know how you could get anything done if you had to rely on it because you would work at about 1/2 the speed of the same vintage Ford. We never had too many major problems with it. Just the leaks and starters/electrical. Got to the point where it just wasn't worth the trouble of dealing with it. Always had to have a blue one around to start the old coot... so you might as well do the work with the Ford too. Rod
