It's not under construction in Texas yet. Im sure that "Governor" Perry would like for you to believe that. There have been plans drawn up and Perry plans to give our land to Centra (from spain) to run and control for 70 years. Through a lot of blood sweat and tears from a bunch of Texans (not just rural) the legislature has put a 30 month moratorium on these type projects. TTC 35 (parallels I - 35)will take up 500,000 acres of farm land alone!!!!!!! Our interstate right of way has not been used to its full potential yet. Right now the toll on this new highway would cost you 35 dollars ONE WAY from Dallas to Austin (for a passenger car not a truck). Taking our land to give to a private company is socialism at best. Wake up AMerica!!!
