It appears that once the paint wears off on many of these there's no way to tell...punch Custom, Lehr Big Boy, Wards (not the row crop), Jumbo, Simpsons Jumbo, Love, Friday, Norseman, Rockol, Regal, OMC (Amos Ostergard's OMC) Closson, Wilson (Oh, forget Closson and Wilson) into the archives here and you'll be reading for a couple weeks...then you can go on to gas engine magazines archives, and if you're still sane you can go back into the original CO-OP and Farmers Union CO-OP, where it all started. (While gas engine magazines archives aren't nearly as deep and broad as here, start there if you'd like the short form).With sympathy...

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
