Buy the Dodge and save yourself a lot of grief and a lot of future repair money. Ford has fallen off the scale on quality and 99 is not a good year. They are actually getting worse the newer they get. The Ford will nickel and dime you trying to keep it on the road. You will be changing starters, alternators, airconditioner pumps, transmissions, lock up junk converters. These trucks are designed very bad under the hood and in the dash area to the point of being absurd. The blend door will probably break or already be broken. That is an unreal job to change. I have five fords and it is a constant maintenence nightmare to keep them fixed. Get the Dodge. They can't be as bad!
