Sounds mighty familiar, was in the store early in the morning, come out and looking across the lot, I parked in one stall way out, and I see the light looking funny on my '96 mustang cobra convertible passenger door, same thing, hit and run, shoulda never took it out, but was only home on weekends then and I wanted to take er for a spin. Have a nice, XLT F-150, same year, '96 on the way to meet a client for an interview, some lady with nine suck$n puppies and no insurance rams me from behind, tailgate and bumper, following year, an old guy out of the teamsters local #280, in a F-450, working for a steel fabricator, caves in the side of the box, mind you I was legally parked on the street, was in the G.C.'s office dropping of some drawings and return to find this, well I got their insurance agent and also knew his boss, I did some picks for them on another job when I had a crane on site, no charge, did em a favor, told em you better take care of this or I will be all over your respective @ss. I kept my sense of humor and told the guy, should'nt you be retired already, we both laughed, what can you do ?

No sense in getting upset, but I'll be darned if you can't have something nice without some careless idiot ruining it for you, yeah it's just a friggin vehicle, but it sure lets the wind out of your sails when things like this happen.

My theory now is to drive an older vehicle with one fender the wrong color, they don't seem to bother those !!!
