Try replacing coil wire with a plug wire or another coil wire if still no spark your coil might have a short inside it. Also a grounded condenser could be the problem try switching it and also clean points with a nail file or something a coil can short out at any time I had one that had a crack across the top but I could only see it under a bright light it cracked from neg to pos post.
