Modern Hay in Connecticut (pics)

Couple scenes from a very picturesque farm near me. Can't get a good angle from the public roads for the barns to do them justice -- huge, beautiful gothic roof barns built in the late 1940s I believe. Originally Tarr Farm, later Amaral -- and quite a local landmark as they had their respective names in the shingles on the roof. Was last used as a heifer facility for the largest dairy in my county, but now primarily just forages. Can't see it well in the photo, but they were running a moco on the field on the hill past the barns at 8:00am, so I reckon this is all high-moisture baleage.
