Up home the neighbor had a Ferguson loader on his Ford tractor. Had a trip bucket. For manure loading etc it was fine. While there needs to be a cable or rod going forward to trip the thing it obviously simplifies the plumbing. If you are going to try to move dirt or gravel you probably will want to go hydraulic.
