We used board insulation floor to ceiling and then put 3/4 ply board 4 foot up on all the walls and put it eight foot behind the work bench keeps things from going through the insulation. The equipment dealer in town is building a new shop and they are putting tin 6 feet up the inside wall to keep from stuff hitting and tearing insulation.
