I am going to buy a large quantity of small square bales of coastal bermuda hay from a hay producer. The hay has been mowed and raked and is ready to bale. While it was drying yesterday, approximately one inch of rain fell on the hay and it more than likely rained on it again this morning. My question is-if the hay dries properly before it is baled-can it dry properly after two rains- will it still be good hay that is suitable for horses after it has been rained on two times? It don't want to pay a lot of money for the hay, get it in my barn, and then it mildew or mold and not be able to feed it to the horses are spending a large sum of money. Thanks
