I think EVERY generation says those very same words about the upcoming generation. Maybe that "kid" doesn't know how to mow a lawn but he might just know how program a micro controller or whatever else that modern science might have to offer.
All I can say for sure is that there are many great kids in our military fighting and sacrificing their live for our freedom as well as freedom for others they do not even know. They stand just as tall as our hero's of WWII!
Give the "kid" the benefit of the doubt and show him a better way of doing it. Who knows, you might just make a lifetime friend!
