Hmmmm. Ok, so it has the Simms pump? The pump cambox is full of fuel? That could be due to a worn out pump, a pump that's not had it's oil changed in a long time, or a bad diaphram in the lift pump which is bolted to the cambox.... The second thing is this... That combox has a vent tube/overflow drain. So if this pump is full, full, full... then mabey that drain is plugged up, and it may have pressurised the cab box, at which point the only remaining exit point for this pressure is past the shaft seal into the crankcase. So, you may have a couple problems. I would check that the breather/overflow line is clear and not pinched. Following that I would check the lift pump. It's probably bad if this thing is loosing any amount of fuel.... Anyhow, that's where I'd look. Rod
