Pete, There is one other slight possible, if it has a cam operated transfer pump that could leak into crankcase. My cummins done this and the seal was out in the pump took it off and took it to a local diesel shop they replaced the seal pressure checked it and I had it back next day. The 1175 uses a simmilar Bosch pump so it may work out for you, only cost me $45.00.
