So, they could charge it to the card if you didn't show up at all.... but your friend shows up and then they can't charge it. That kind of lays waste to the security policy. If she'd just walked out and said nothing, you would have paid. To a point I can see where they want to be very careful about cards. There's no shortage of bogus numbers floating around out there, and fraud's of kinds you and I probably can't imagine.... but i agree with you. I buy parts all the time by the thousands of dollars. It all goes on the cards, dealing with people hundreds of miles away that I've never met, and probably never will meet. Ya think they could ease up or use a little more discretion once and a while.
