My neighbor was at an auction 3 years ago, bid $100. on an old massey 35 combine, brought it home, changed the fluids, greased it, and it combined wheat. I was there when he headed into the wheat. Clean grain in tank, straw out the back and very little waste. After an hour it broke a water pump hose. Can't give you the repair bill since, but it has combined some wheat every year since, and one month ago it was still in his drive shed in one piece. Initially he bought the combine for the engine block.
