Butch the way I repaired the steering wheel on my John Deere "G" I went down to the local hardware store and picked me up a tube of "Epoxy 7" mixed it up and put on steering wheel where parts were missing,then as it starts to set up take some saran wrap and drape around it to form the finger groves on the back side. Epoxy 7 dries sort gray black,but I spray painted black and you have to look awful close to see were it was repaired and its been like that four or five years and no cracks. J, B. Weld appears the same little more on the runny side,Epoxy #7 will do you a good job. Gman
