John Deere Idling--

We have four A B G John Deeres, and every one of them idles perfectly and never miss a beat. Some Suggestions: 1. Richen up your idle mixture. 2. Check the governor rod length to carburetor. (Read the archives to get this exact spec.) 4. Adjust the throttle stop screw on top of the carburetors throttle control. Tighten the screw until it rests against the vertical spring. You will have to experiment with this a little.
