Hello, everyone. I am in need of some tech support so-to-speak. I have a '41 John Deere H that was restored by me a couple of years ago. I have since moved cross country, and subsequently, the little popper had to sit in storage for the past two years. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to get her going again, so I installed my DLTX46 carb that was sent to Robert's 2 years ago, but never put on. After gassing up, It started almost immediately, and absolutely purrs like a sewing machine at idle. Very rythmic. But, as I advance the throttle, the "pops" become few and far between, and the engine never really speeds up. I drove it around the yard like this to see if maybe it would clear up, but no dice. Every few minutes it will run 3 or 4 pops together and get my hopes up, but goes right back to its intermittant state. I've been out of the loop so long, that I really don't know where to begin to solve the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for letting me ramble!
