I'am about 10 miles from the border. About 7 miles SW of Preston MN. The south end of the farm got 2/10 and the other end 0. I watched and listened to those storms form for two nights in a row. There has been rain all around me but not here. The weather guessers are forecasting 80% chance of heavy rain tonight but it looks to be headed into WI. Last rain was 1 1/2 June 21. We've had dry years but I or dad before me never had to feed beef cows before November. Also never bought hay always had extra to sell until this year. With no rain it looks like I will be feeding the home herd in about 10 days. Have'nt figured out just what I'am going to feed them yet tho. Things can turn in a hurry tho, might be putting creek fences back in tomorrow morning.
