I see a lot of diesel pickups out there that get worked hard and standup to the punishment that are GM, Dodge, and Ford, so... I own two Cummins Dodges, and my only bitc. is the automatic transmissions behind the Cummins engines. If I were to get a new one, and I"d have to take a hard look closer look at the Dodge before buying one, it"d definately be with a manual transmission like I always had before these two. One"s a "96 and one"s an "02, and they both have reliable Danas under them. Dodge quit using Dana axles in either "03 or "04 for some cheaper cost job out of Korea. I don"t know about their reliability, but whenever costs are cut for profit, reliability usually suffers. As far as GMs or Fords go...I aint got one, so I can"t rightly knock them. Good luck...none are cheap.
