I would check some different yards. Al siding pays the most per pound. Being that it is 1.5 hrs away there should be another yard to go to. I just got 51 cents/lb for al sheeting. The break down of what I can get is al siding, al sheet and cast. The best way to remove is put claw under top of siding and pull. It usually pops off the nails or pound straight down and it will fall off..
