Need info re NH 256 hay rake

I have a NH 256 hay rake and I can't find the owner's manual. Need to know how to adjust it for a light and fluffy windrow or a tightly wound windrow but I forgot.
There is a lever on the side of the rake near the front that slides a ball arrangement either up or down and allows one to adjust the windrow.
I forgot if "up" is fluffy or "down" is fluffy.
I know it's easy to try and adjust but things move fast when the time comes.
Does anyone remember?
