well this is what i did to a tank on a 49 farmall that sat for about 15 years; removed the tank and and gas or whatever was in it. and then put some clean pea gravel in the tank, about 10lbs or so. then rigged up a gizmo to turn the tank real slow for about 3 hours. it made the inside of the tank look like new. hey, it worked for me !
