I have my play truck and I have my 04 3500. Yes adequate to pull my gooseneck with whatever I put on it. But that extra power is awesome. And your driveline will NOT suffer as long as you don't put anymore that 100 extra hp. And with the smarty you can change the settings for when you need them and when you don't. And yes some people still dont believe this but I have added about three miles a gallon on my truck with the smarty. All these programmers do is either change the timing or adjust fuel.
