A friend of mine had the same problem. He contacted the local sheriff"s office, and they sent out the "bomb squad" (sort of), and they removed it for him. He was a little concerned that they would want to question, or even arrest, him; but that was not the case. They were happy that they were able to take care of it, instead of it falling into the wrong hands.
