i think it would depend a lot on the baler some are double feed and you drive right over the center of the windrows these big balers need a lot of power and a high tractor to operate them. if you get one of the older side pickup models then you can get by with a smaller tractor. My 68 NH "78" needs a bigger tractor to keep it going.
