You might consider a Ford 600 or 800 series. The 600 is just a little more horse power and the 800 is 42HP if I'm not mistaken. Both have live 3 point hitch. These came in variations like 600,640,660 800,840,860 then later601,801 ect. The lowest number should have the same 4 speed trans that is in your 8N. the upper ones had a 5 speed. The other numbers increased with additional options. Some had a single clutch for both trans and PTO, some had double clutchs allowing to stop the tractor without stopping the PTO. Some also had power steering. All of these can have remote hyd valves installed if they are not already. These same tractors were the early 2000 and 4000 avalible in both gas and diesel.these are all 4 cylinder engines. Later was made 3 cylinder engines with numbers 3000 and 4000 there might have been a 2000 in a 3 cylinder.
