I don't think a person could plant any legal crop and make a living on 30 acres of land. Now if you want to just live and do away with the power company etc. yes it can be done but it would be very hard work and you would need a horse or mule etc. to do it. I do know of one crop you could plant and if you didn't get caught you would be set for life but the chances of not being found out is less then 0.00001%
