If there's a heat resistant manifold paint in aluminum that is long lasting and doesn't turn an ugly brown color, I haven't yet found it. The Tremclad hi-heat black (flat) is by far the best stuff I've come across (but it's black of course). A couple of coats and you're away. Mind you, if you're restoring something and it has to be aluminum, then this isn't much help.
