Pros and cons? The 856 will have smoother hydraulics. Foot clutch to freeup your hands to run the hydraulics, gear shift and so on when running the baler. More gears to choose a speed to better feed the baler. Only downside I can think of is, if your a JD man the 856 is red. Gary
