thank you all , for all the replys. yes, i know the 1086 is a horse, 130 horses for feeding hay is a bit much, but the price was right, and after looking at the smaller tractor's, i could buy the 1086 for thousands less. what ? was it tim allen say's ?? more power ?! ha! i live in central missouri, im running cow/calf, and my uncle just down the road a'ways runs a 1486, 1206 806. and 966... he's just a wee bit too far away to just go borrow one. so this is what i've found, it runs good, dash lights dont work, brakes are good, no blow-by, needs a paint job, but i dont think the cows will care about the paint. oh ! the a/c works ! hydraulics seem to be fine. yes, three point hay stinger is what i'll use, no loader.yet.
