Every revolution it turns after you turn the ignition off it still sucks in some fuel mixture. When an engine is first shut off it will actually increase in temperature for a period before it starts to cool off.That increase in temp will vaporize any fuel still in the cylinders and eventually ignite it. If your idle is high it will turn a lot of times before it stops , more fuel. Make sure throttle plate is completely closed. Don't use fuel that has 10% alchahol in it. (Sunoco etc). As soon as it stops completely , try opening the throttle up to let the fuel vapor escape before it explodes.
