Unless she pays it, that child support bill will follow her around to the day she dies. A guy I had working for me in the late 90's was getting his pay garnished for child support arrears of about $20K after he ran out on his wife & kid. He's working here again- his son is now in his mid 20's, the child support tab is now well over $30K becuase of the never ending interest. My employee never sees his tax refund and has been told that when he starts collecting his Social Security will be seized also.
