I have a 2004 Farmtrac 80. The numbers have changed since I bought mine and that model is now the 675. It has shuttle and I have a loader on it. It's gear shuttle. You have to press the clutch in when shifting. You can shift from forward to reverse with the tractor moving.
I just finished spreading 600 tons of wood ash about a month ago. The bucket will hold about 500 pounds of ash, so you can do the numbers and see I gave the loader a good workout and no problems. I also handle about 300 rolls of hay per year and that has to be moved twice.
Got just under 900 hours on it now. It's just getting broke in good. Farmtrac has been great supporting the tractors. I had a lift cylinder that started to leak a little last year. Farmtrac replaced both cylinders (no charge) with the new style cylinders for the newest loader. I'll have to say I was shocked that they did that. I could see replacing one cylinder but they sprung for both. Of course that made me very happy. All I was asking for was a packing kit. LOL
I'll have to say I have a great dealer. He backs what he sells. I'll also add if I needed another tractor I'd sure buy another Farmtrac. It suits my budget and type of farming I do.
Got a 97-2610 Long too so I've been buying from my dealer for a while. A good dealer makes the difference with any tractor purchase. If he doesn't back the product you can have problems. That's with any brand.
