Good for them, that"s how its supposed to be. I"m proud of them.
I was coming home last Friday night through Illinois, and because the toll road was shut down just east of the state line cause of rain the night before, had to take some back roads. And because of rain down there too, had to keep turning down more and more back roads cause were baracaded off because of high waters. This dirt road, that dirt road, forgot my wallet and fuel money back in my work truck setting far west, had a 1/2 tank and was headed far southeast and needed to be going northeast towards Michigan. Ended up going by the Will County fair in Peotone, and it was sure rocking and rolling, but was sure trying to get home to my family, and it sure did take hours longer as it was. But as I was going by my heart was aching to pull in and take a walk through the livestock areas to see what somebody"s kids proudly achieved, and gosh dang they should be proud, each and every last one of them, as should their parents. If I"d had a wallet and more time. Was glad to make it home on fumes at 1Am and not use the cell to wake anyone up to come get me, and my labrador was waiting at the door and a plate by the microwave when I got there. Didn"t have to wake anyone up. Family counts for most everything in my book.
You and yor kids done well. Congratulations to you and them from me and mine.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
