I have checked and rechecked the plug wires, even used my thumb to make sure I was getting spark during compression. I have added oil to the cylinders and that did not raise compression any. The only time I have written down the compression was after it had ran for a while and the engine was warmed up and they were all around 120 or 125. Could a cold engine be that much worse (I am only getting 75 now)? Also, if I did not have enough compression to run, why does it pop for 4 or 5 seconds and then quit. I will check the valves again tomorrow and will recheck the carb and carb settings. After that, I just may have to take it to the Corn Festival in Wilmington and have my uncle in law help me out.
