Got the lights up & running on the 1855 now. I they always worked, but I mounted some fuel tank fenders on now and they had some extra holes for lights in the front (originally off a 50 series would be my guess)

I kept the original circuit, then added a second one for the 4 extra lights I mounted. I added 2 rear worklights 2 years ago and ran them off the original switch, but after opengin up the dash I found the power supply wire was melting it's plastic conection because it was too high of a load.

I used a new 3 position push-pull switch for an Oliver 1600, and made it so all the way out was all 4 lights are on, and the middle was just the rear work lights (for if I only want to use the back lights for stationary work)

I made all new harnesses in the fenders and a new harness for the new circuit out of the dash, all wrapped in electrical tape and the ends of the tape covered in heat shrink to keep it form coming undone. I also used heat shrink over all the connectors, and used the spade connectors w/ the plastic that covers the connection. I replaced one flasher that got swiped off by a tree branch last year opening up a corn feild (watch me do it again this year) and fixed the tailight that didn't want to work on the original fender.

I also added some new side grab handles, they were scrapped by the company my brother worked for so he brought them home. They originally had 8 MM threads, so I drilled them out and tapped them to 3/8. Now anybody can grab hold and climb up. I do have to give my dad credit for them, as he saw the potential they had when my brother brought them home.

I also cleaned up some past wireing I had for an electric spout on our old Fox chopper (no, it's not original) It has 2 wires going to the motor, but the switch needs 4 to the motor, plus power and ground. I put some pictures of that custom wireing project in the album too.
