I was wondering about that too - hard to compare old to new. Hydraulics, tranny, pto, & safety have far surpassed a 9n. But then, will any of these new hydraulic/ electronic marvels be around in 60 years, running good & easy to repair? Tough choice, really. Since this is an old tractor message board, I'd guess a lot of us lean towards the oldies. :) As to the question, the Ford n series changed the way tractors were viewed, giving the world a cheap, durable, handy tractor. That is about as classic as you can get. But they are too useful to retire it, if that is what you mean? --->Paul
