I am converting the front mount snow blower for my Kubota tractor to a rear 3 pt. PTO driven setup. I could get the parts to build the female end of the PTO shaft locally. However, the easist would be if I could find a splined addapter for the shaft on the 90 degree gear box. The addapter needs the standard male 6 spline 1 3/8 inch pto X 7/8 inch round female to fit on the gear box. If I could find this, then I could use the PTO shaft from my tiller which has a push button connector at each end. Alternately, I could get a shaft from a junk tractor, cut it off and bore the 7/8 inch hole in the end. Does anyone know of a company that makes addapters such as I described? For the curious, I did not have all the parts for the front mount, and we don't get enough snow to merit pulling the front loader and mounting the blower every year.
