I dont think I'll ever forget the many dates and times that have occured during my lifetim. I can remember my mother telling me in 1939 that Hitlers invasion of Poland was the beginning of a world war. I was alive on Dec 7th 1941 when pearl harbor was attacked and we were glued to the radio. I can remember the days that the atomic bombs were dropped and can remember signing up for the Air force just prior to the Korean war. I can remember when we were sending training personnel to Viet Nam and the Hostage crises with Iran and the Panama war and the Grenada war in the carribbean , the First Gulf War and the new War on Terror and 9/11 attack on NY and the invasion of Afganistan and the attack on Iraq and I remember the many young men that gave up their lives including a grandson two years ago in Iraq. WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THESE DAYS AND ALWAYS HOLD THEM CLOSE for living in such a monumental time and such a great country that men are willing to die for. Yes, a moment of silence is due. Henry
